Prepare the request
Send the depot and load details once
A useful quotation needs the collection address, requested destination depot, delivery date, carton or pallet count, approximate dimensions and total weight. Include the seller delivery reference and receiving instructions that apply to the planned handover.
Crown Courier reviews the declared load and proposes a suitable bakkie, 8-ton truck or 12-ton truck. Final capacity, route, handling support and price are confirmed in writing before payment.
The seller remains responsible for meeting Takealot’s current booking, product preparation, packaging, labelling, appointment and receiving requirements. Crown Courier does not provide marketplace account advice and cannot guarantee acceptance of incorrectly prepared stock.

Which depot do you deliver to?+
State the exact Johannesburg destination from the seller’s current booking or delivery instruction. The route is confirmed in the quotation.
Can you transport cartons and pallets?+
Yes, subject to the declared weight, dimensions, vehicle suitability and loading equipment at both sites.
Does Crown Courier make the marketplace booking?+
No. The seller remains responsible for marketplace bookings, references, packaging, labelling and receiving compliance.
What if the depot delays or refuses the load?+
Waiting time, redelivery and failed-handover treatment depend on the accepted quotation and transport terms. Incorrectly prepared or undocumented stock remains the seller’s responsibility.
